 Instant NPC Kill button

I dont know about any one else but the click click clicking on killing NPCs is starting to get on my nevous. you need to click 5 times minimum to kill a NPC.

One to bring the NPC up on the tab.
One to target it.
two Minimum to kill it
AND one to remove the NPC to target another.

Couldn't we have a side button like the planets with an instant kill button. it automatically calulates the amount of damage & energy required when clicked. With what EXP/Item you get.

If you dont have enough hull, it will limit the attack to the point you can no longer attack and have to repair it self.

As people kill NCPs any way, i see only one benefit to this. Less time, so i can eventally actually make a cup of tea. and less clicking
so yo dont have to take GL to court for a messed up hand.

The EXP, Item, Hull damage, Energy would still be all the same.

i like the idea but due to auto levelers it wont be implemented

I can auto level with out this @ 10 ranks or more a day. There players who can auto rank off Missions.
Auto leveling can not be stopped unless dan wants to wreck the game and make everything Unbalanced.
I'm just saying, come on dan make it easier for all? no one likes Click click click click click click click....

Also i would like my cup of tea some time. :)

Also i forgot to say.

This Instant kill button would take off a minimum of 2 clicks.

One to bring the NPC up
One to bring the NPC instant kill tab up
One to Click instant Kill.

Instead of all that other hassle....

Great suggestion but there are some flaws ;

What if you're attacking an elite or boss?

What if you're attacking an NPC that can use effects on you ? how do you stop halfway and use a cage? Not everyone around here flies big tanked ships that can ignore debuffs coming there way.

Well i'm glade this got brought up, i argee i hate debuffs 2. but this instant kill button would just
act the same way if your killing it. i mean there always a system that could be place.

e.g. if you was unlucky to get debuffed half way through, the instant kill could stop and alert you with.
"You have Spent X Energy, You have Gained X EXP.
You have been debuffed with "..." Do you want to continue?
Yes / No."

then go to the trade page, artifacts and remove the debuffs.

The elites, if you didn't want to kill all of it then you would have to do it manually. or hope for a debuff.
I personally dislike Elites, my legion take to long to kill them for my liking, so i perfer just to kill them all, even XRP warp stations.

Corrected.

To be honested, the way GL is going auto ranking will become more of an issue.
Players can auto rank up using the temp flux mission ect.

Exotic matter is nothing 20 EM per KU and i get 6B profit on my mining income per day.
Higher ranks than me, is even more.

Using human, RSL share and Nerual interface, you can turn most mission into 3.5 EXP rate.
Using that you can auto rank 10+ ranks in a matter of minuites.

Just give us some slack on instant kills is neither here or there.
It just makes ALL our lives easier.

Players who like to auto rank - Easier.
Players who like to mission with time to time NPC - Easier.
Players who go after bosses and rare NPCs - Easier.

The only problem is dan doesn't like auto rankers, hes made it alot harder but unless he removes
Inergon race, to make it even harder. but then again auto ranking still remains....

The benefits of this idea out weighs the negatives....

This is a big no-no. The only thing standing in people's way from auto-ranking thousands of levels a day is time and boredom. Take those out and you have people reaching levels the game can't even display. If your feeling bored then just reset and get the feel of what it's like to be a little guy, try to do things differently, more efficient. Try to be a better ship.

Frankly I see this as laziness wanting something easier regardless of the consequences. And auto-locking gives zero chance to anyone who wasn't there the split second it was alerted. In other words, the greedy get richer, the less fortunate get poorer.

I cannot emphasize enough how much of a -1 this is.

In my legion, A laz plant OR queen gets killed before the alert come up. you click the alert and just see:
This NPC is already disabled.

and ALOT of other legions are the same, Not just that but more higher rank u are, higher the attack you got more planets you take. Cossal 15x ect.

The Rich gets richers still, and the poor still gets poorer. All i'm saying is make it easier for ALL of us.

BUT I do agree that laz plants and queens among other rares that are sharable should be manually killed.

everytime we click 'attack', our mouse-tapping motion actually signals a hamster to click on an ad on another server. the more clicks, the more Dan gets paid.
