Currently when fighting having a high scan will hep you do higher damage to the enemy. What if a high scan (or just random chance) could trigger some sort of temporary negative effect to the enemy in addition to doing damage? maybe a shot that hits a thruster/engineering section, slowing the ship and essentially lowering defence, or if a shot hits a shied node (lowering shield) or a command node (slowing commands across the ship, giving a increased raid chance in the confusion). Comments, thoughts and feelings ? |

PvP is meant to be hard, and there are already artifacts that lower attack, defense, and even one that depletes shields fully. I'm afraid it's a big "-1" from me. |

im sure a critical hit does enough damage without any anti-effects although i kinda like the idea 0.5 from me |

The effects of scan on PvP are dubious but aside from that, it would add a dash of originality into Pv`p but it really works well as it is now, and if it needs modification, this is not it. |
