I'm on a roll today with new ideas, so I thought I would add the idea for missions directed at specific professions, just like the few (almost negligible) race missions.
For example, excavators could have a mission on a rare archeological find that brings misfortune and have to deal with the myth (if it is a myth at all...
). Other examples are miners could discover a rare mineral that self-replicates itself, or spies could reveal hidden technology from an enemy.
