Would like the ability to alert whatever planets we have on scan just to show other legion members what we have (maybe 5 minute cooldown between alerts and the alerts will expire after 5 minutes.

planets would be immune to all attacks, artifacts and guarding during the alert of course

EDIT: you already can have rogue legion members who jump in on a planet not meant for them. now you want a 2d mechanism to alert w/o alerting ?

plus, there have been enough forum posts about the plethora of alerts that has forced dan to separate them into multiple tabs ...

Hmm a new and extra way to show off, uh... yeah it's not really a ground-breaking idea you got here. But regardless keep on plugging I'm sure you'll find one idea in a thousand wich is a good one.
