It would be great if I were able to have custom ship layouts. Changing ship parts manually is a pain |

We started asking for the ability to create "kits" of modules you could fast-change into about two year ago. This is unlikely to happen. However, I have some good news too! I suggested to Dan that we have a filter on Artifacts, which Dan recently implemented. a couple months ago, I corresponded with Dan about changing the Ship Module Page to be easier to work with as well; The outcome was that Dan suggested, and I advocated making a filter for ships modules the same as we now have for artifacts. So, this should help make the ship modules far easier to deal with! =) I also asked that he extend the Artifact filter to the GL Purchasable artifacts as well, since it's hard to buy multiples, to which he agreed it would be a good enhancement once he's done with the others. =) -Q |

What? he would like custom "SETS" or "KITS" of modules he could create, so that he could change from one "Setup" (or as he describes "Layout") to another. eg: One kit would be a set of modules which would gear his ship to scanning for planets, another would gear his ship to hacking, another to attacking/defending. so that he would not haing to go through many "pages" of panels installing and un-installing modules, or buying and selling them. As I pointed out, this has been asked for many times in the two years the game has existed; I spoke to Dan about this again some months ago in email and he agreed a change should be made to made the modules filterable the way that the artifacts screens are now filterable, which should make them far more easy to deal with for everyone. -Q |

I can see a benefit to this. If the current effects to uninstalling modules remain in place then I'm all for it, regardless of if it's just a filter or a set. |

Of course that would need a repair all button to be added. |
