This would be a research tree that gives additions to different areas of the game, by allowing players to essentially research and develop new "skills". These skills would range from the combat side of the game to things such as the GTC. There could also be a challenge side to the tree, so you'd have to do more things to advance in the tree, such as successful bids in the GTC or getting certain amounts of PVP kills for example. I wont be putting any specific research amount or order to these blocks, so you guys can decide.

Skill : Trader
Levels - 3
Grants - Additional Bid/Auction slots in the GTC. +1 auction/bid slot per level.
Challenge - Per level (so reach the research cost) successfully complete a mix of 10 bids or auctions (must "win" or sell).

Skill : Hunter
Levels - 2
Grants - Additional PVP slots in the Battle Tab. +5 PVP slots per level.
Challenge - Per level, successfully disable 50 enemy players. (these disables must be done after completing each level)

Skill : Conqueror
Levels - 3
Grants - Reduced Invasion cost (levels 1 and 2; -5% credit cost to invade per level), Passive ability (Level 3; When successfully invading, there is a small chance of regaining 50% of the invasion credit cost).
Challenge - Per level, Successfully gain 20 green badges. (must be earned after completing each level)

Skill : Strategist
Levels - 3
Grants - Passive +3% attack boost against certain NPC factions. Level 1 : Crimson Blades. Level 2 : Stryll Order. Level 3 : Sha'din Coalition. (effect from previous level continues to next level, so level 2 grants attack boost against crimson blades and the stryll order)
Challenge - Per level, disable 50 NPCs from that levels target.

Thats all i can think of for now, anyone feel free to suggest additions or comments/feedback.

Trader--Please don't encourage people to use the mess called the GTC

Hunter--Lemme take an hour or so to double the number of halc'd, NAP'd or zeroed people on my BT. Yep, cool.

Conqueror--Encourages footballs. Bad thing.

Strategist--One good NPC run and that's taken care of.

I dunno about you, but that certainly doesn't apply to me. I can go as long as I want without filling the tabs without that problem. So to a lot of people, I'd say that's actually useful.

Yeah to the lower ranks yes it may, and that at the lower ranks u don't find alot of players halc'd(mostly have KV's on them). But when u get to mid to high rank like myself u will notice alot of players use halcs, coz they don't pvp much or don't wanna get disabled ect..

Now with this idea i say -1 to all, even the pvp, one coz it ain't needed, u kill someone, someone then takes their spot, there are 10 pvp slots, and u only really need the one slot until someone pops up with a halc effect already active, coz players are endless, u will find halc'd players but they will disappear once the trap is set.

There was a separate thread improving starting classes with leveling ex. merchant less tax, etc.
