If you have a lot of artifacts sitting around in your cargo. You wouldn't want to get rid of them and that you would rather give the artifacts to your legion players but the different time zones don't help.

This idea might of came up a number of times but if there are suggestions then same then I can't stress enough that it is a good idea.

This idea is about creating a cargo hold on the legion base for the unwanted artifacts in a player ships cargo and you would want to share it with your legion friends. Ships have a cargo hold and they are quite small in comparison to a Legion Base, docking 10's of Ships. So it will make sense if the Legion Base also has a Cargo Hold.

This Cargo Hold could be used in the Special Space on the Base like the Collective Theory Lab, Embassy's Etc. A Cargo Hold would be a place where people would initially 'dump' artifacts without a price and other legion players would be able to just go into the Cargo Hold and just take them out. There would be no costs except from building a Cargo Hold onto the Legion Base.

Cargo Hold's could be increased by using certain Artifacts that you would need to buy with Galaxy Points, or could be a reward from an Npc be it Elite down to rare.

This is all I could come up with so far as I'm in a rush and there would be many more ideas that could branch off this.
Hopefully this could be a potential update for the near future.

Suggested before, not implemented before and still -1. Make a facebook group, have people put a list of artifacts they want and send it to them when they are offline. Don't waste precious special space on this.

Well I've had numerous people say that this is the kinda thing that people need. Making a Facebook group and saying what artifacts you have could take up to days which in this case you may as well scrap it as its pointless. This would be a way of giving away these artifacts immediately without wasting such good artifacts. For example: I have over 2k Arty's that I would like to give out to my legion players but talking to them with the time differences and how many they want could take over a day and its such a hassle for myself to be doing this.

The principle reason why this sort of thing gets ignored by the developer is that it completely negates the need for ship cargo. Managing ship cargo, especially at lower ranks, is one of the fundamental strategies of the game.

Managing ship cargo? HA! Most people have huge amounts of free cargo, particularly those at higher ranks.

It wouldn't be used for Managing ship cargo anyway unless someone has a legion just for their own. Putting a low cap on a Legion Base Cargo would only allow people to put a certain amount of artifacts in them and so not everyone could just dump everything into the cargo. This is what limits are for...

Regardless of the intended purpose, people WILL use it to warehouse stuff they would kinda like to keep but do not have the cargo space for. When you have limited cargo space, you need to strategically plan. Do I save these 5 spy probes or do I sacrifice them so I can save 50 Erixion to build a ship mod or whatever. Cargo is limited for a reason. It's part of the early game learning experience of strategy and tactics. I didn't want to throw the Multi card, but that is another BIG reason to not have a legion-wide cargo of any type. One main account sits back while they use a pack of multi's to feed artifacts to the legion cargo. Then when the master account is ready to use them, bingo, there the stuff is without him having to hoard it all in his own ship. Trust me. It's a bad idea.

There is just no point to this, and that which point there is, is not the intention. So why bother?
