I usually buff up with the same set of arties every time (ancient crystal foci, crimson obelisk, nanite swarm capsules, grid console) before I go hit npcs or other people. What annoys me is that the ancient crystal foci (ACF) has a duration that is slightly longer than the other ones. So if I have an extended NPC session and need to rebuff, often the others have expired but the ACF has a few minutes left. I could rebuff the others and come back later when the ACF wears off, or wait it out and rebuff them all at the same time. Either way, it's annoying.

I propose that the duration of the ACF buff be shortened (by a very small amount) so it matches these other artifacts. Alternatively, it could be changed by a large amount, either up or down, so we don't have the it-almost-matches-but-doesn't-quite effect we have now. I mean, why does it have a 2 hour 5 minute duration anyway?

Another alternative is that artifacts can be used even when they are already applied, and they simply refresh the duration. More thought on this possibility is needed, since there must have been a reason why this wasn't the way it worked in the first place.

No, don't shorten the ACF time, if it annoys you that much take the time to use an ACF a few minutes before the others, but DON"T take any time off my ACF's. :P

Why can't you just wait 5 minutes? It's not that long.
