Here's some updates on things we are working on!

Game Features In Development:
* Legion Missions (formerly called coop tasks)

Legion missions are multi-day events that require planning and coordination of many members. Once a legion decides to start a mission, an eligible Legion Mission arc will be chosen at random. The Legion’s success within that mission will be determined by its choices and capabilities over its duration.

Legion missions will have randomized success conditions, some of which are hidden and unknown to the legion. Missions have multiple segments, each with different requirements. A legion will need to carefully decide which members to lock in for each requirement. However, neglecting a segment, or violating one or more of its conditions (whether known or hidden), may have a negative impact on the success of the mission as a whole.

Each phase of the mission arc differs based on the success of the previous, so its possible to do the same arc and have different mission objectives next time.

why not some legion medals were we can unlock special base mods , ability's, designs , base titles? and a new legion medal leader board

this can be viewed by going into a new legion medals tab

What would stop people from legion jumping and growing there medals?

What about having to be in a legion for at least one month to be able to receive the medal?

So would legion medals show up on your medals list or on a new tab added to the base menu? Just to confirm because I had an idea on how to stop legion jumpers if the legion medals appear on a players medal list.

The medals aren't about participation they're challenges that when completed reward the player in one form or another whether it be immediate like a module, structure, design or title, or in the long run by gathering medal points for battle market stuff.

In other words, the stuff that Dan is already working on, except you get medal points for participating.... :roll:

How about medal points for the legion, rather than for the individual, that unlock new base modules or additional CT-Lab items (that require legion medal points rather than a large amount of research for an impossibly small chance for a discovery)

How about we wait to see what all Dan does with the legion missions? I'm pretty confident that they are not going to just be energy + click = xp and will be including special modules and abilities. So, again... Medal points for participating... :roll:

I think everything is medal points now because it was a new way to keep track of things you do. Instead of getting the badges which tell you every time you get one it just counts it up. If he can make something else like your stats page where you can go and view your stats on other things then that would be great. But what they want here is something for their hard work and medals again are the only way we really know of to do that. Its like with my NPC idea. I don't really want it to be in the medals area but that is the only way we know of to get it in the game.

now I do agree that Dan shouldn't make the legion co-op tasks medals. But that is not up to me. I'm sure if they turn out like they sound it will be good whatever Dan does with them.

This doesnt need to be related to legion missions but can be for acheivements the legion has accomplished.

i.e.

Spend 10,000,000 Research Points in the Collective Theory Lab

Disable and Raid 100 Bases

etc.

and the rewards can be likewise legion based as bonuses to the legion's base or rewards that only legion members can partake in

I agree with Darth. Lets just wait to see what the legion co-op tasks/missions will entail before trying to get rewards for them, though I imagine that Dan has some in mind already.

these medal are set on there legion (legion base , when you look at your ship stats you see your medals , when you view the legion base you see base medals or legion medals) meaning only there legion is giving medals, not the legionarys ( if that make sense ) so jumping to different legion to get medals would be stupid as your not improving your original legion medals at all , if anything your helping the legion you joined to get medals

i dont think the legionary's should be given rewards as you said , people would just jump around getting better stuff
