I'm just putting this out there so it won't keep rattling around inside my head.

Its an ally that instead of increasing stats it increases your storage capacity.

Rank 1: +1 deck +20 to all resource capacity +10 cargo

Rank 30: +30 deck +600 resource capacity +300 cargo

Rank 60: +60 deck +1200 resource capacity +600 cargo

Rank 100: +100 deck +2000 resource capacity +1000 cargo

And seeing as this is most likely overpowered in this rough draft idea,
it will be a CT Lab item(non negotiable) made from an undetermined amount of mass storage pods, tesseract containers, and ship-bots.
I don't have any ideas on how it would rank up so any ideas and feedback would be appreciated.

I actually like the idea...

Maybe it should rank with every (Insert a nice round number here) critical raids or so...

If anyone is wondering, there isn't any % bonus the base stats multiply by whatever rank it is.

This Idea is one of the worse ! To start its only use would be for lower ranks.. Yet you want it on the Lab where VERY VERY VERY VERY few would even get it. This Item dose not at all belong in the lab. Have you even tryed to realy unlock lab tech . I would have to think if u did you would not suggest such a wasted item. Why Add deck?? and cargo?? EVERY one before you played the game just fine with limited cargo many of us played before legion bases! you want more cargo join an AP base. the only good thing about it is the Resource storage capacity. But wait.. We already have that in the CT lab. If you wanted some low rank mission or some GP item I would not care but "CT Lab item(non negotiable) " is Just King of derpishness. <-- I only say words like that cause the i'm not alowed to say the ones i want to.

Couple of tweaks:
1) No to additional decks
2) A % boost (say +10% cargo) would be nice at some rank
3) It could rank up every time you colonise a planet.

so it gains decks as it ranks??? -1 from me! also that much storage is not exactly worth much when a storage arti is far easier to obtain and cargo, 1k is hardly anything, i have nearly 10k cargo and i am just over rank 300 so anyone in the upper ranks say rank 600 + it is most likely going to be a disadvantage to them because of the extra decks!

No to any ally that adds decks.
Cargo is unneeded.
For resource storage we have msps, and gp bought storages.

Rank 1: +200 to all resource capacity +100 cargo

Rank 30: + 40 def

Rank 60: + 30 shields

Rank 100: advance cargo vaults .

stats increase by rank just like the other allies. colonize a planet for 1 rank .
advance cargo vaults : ability 100 NRG 30 tech upgrades a Pyricon Vault by 50% up to 100% 8 hour cool down.


Mission Add on would like NOT to have another GP Allie. Would not like another CT lab guy.

This was meant to be a fun little idea but now you guys are starting to make me feel low, some of you are acting like I'm insulting you. And the non negotiable part may have been a bit much but at the time the CT Lab seemed like the best place for it.

saying non Negotiable for a CT lab item is what brought me to post. Any ways I like my idea could maybe tweek the starting cargo a bit. but ..

I will explain, hopefully, it does not come across as insulting as it is not meant as such.

Re: Decks: At high levels, we do not want decks. They increase the damage we take while basing, NPCing, PvP, etc. More decks = bad.

Re: CTLab: CTLab items that only can be used one, shouldn't really be in the CT-Lab. If you want the truth, the items you can only use 3 times shouldn't be in the CT-Lab. Getting the next item will take 38k or 40k RP per trial. Doing that to get an item you can only use once is frustrating to the people trying for it.

While I have no issues with cargo, I like the idea of an ally that will increase cargo (I think % makes more sense than a fixed amount) and maybe increasing resource cap by a set amount. I don't like the idea of CT-Lab or it increase decks. I think leveling it up by having all three resources capped (once per day) would be a different way from what we have now to get its level up.

What if it added decks without increasing your damage cap since it is a separate entity from your ship? Just throwing an idea out

I really like the idea, but I think the Resource capacity increase should be a little bit higher. Maybe triple the ratio you posted?

Rank 100: Resources within this ally cannot be raided or hacked. (so if your current res is below the capacity of this, hack/raid yield nothing)
Growth: +10% base value per lvl.
resource capacity growth double every 10 levels. (so it's 100%, 110%, 120%.... 190%, 200%, 220%, 240% etc, would max at 9728)

Note ONLY resource have speed up growth, the others are just 10% base per level.

how's that sound?

your rank 1 boost though isnt any good even at rank 100. would only be 396 extra storage. cross between the two maybe.

read more carefully, the resource capacity have an increased growth rate, it caps at 9728 extra storage

While I can conceptualize a shield battery storage, I really can't see where the def is coming from, doesn't seem like something you can store in a vault, mobile or not. Especially considering the defense mechanism(thruster/dampner) of the game.

Why cant it intersect enemy fire?? Also its rank 100 ability i gave it would be awesome to have.
