Some sort of passive ability which cools every 8 hours which clears half your battle tab at random. Found using a similar structure to the Exotic chain.

Normally, I'd agree with you that that's enough, but then why are there so many people complaining about Halcyons? If the 2 hr refresh was enough, there wouldn't be this group of people complaining. The Halc complainers would have a tool to get rid of a lot of their problem.
Myself, I really think that the Halcyon problem isn't a problem, but hey, it's me trying to provide some support for this so that there's one less group posting problems.

This doesn't make fewer people have halcyons on, it doesn't make halcyons trigger sooner nor foes it prevent new people with halcyons from appearing on your bt when your get rid of the ones on your bt. Doesn't seem to address their complaints. I don't think it is necessary so I am not going to bother thinking of ways to improve it.

If I'm not bothering to suggest any improvements to the problem, then this topic doesn't exist. Its sole purpose was fixing the Halcyon "problem"

Don't stop trying, maybe with this particular idea do, but keep the suggestions coming. One might be good and get implemented.

you can effectively avoid halcs by going after ppl with more than 3/5/5 actions and ppl w/o traps(trap prob). i guess if this was implemented, you can attack until they are all 3/5/5+traps, refresh and have some more before you have to risk running into halc.
so there can be limited use.

so there can be limited use. What does that save you? A little energy? You can just bump them. The only real use this would have is getting rid of players with 0 disables, who shouldn't be there anyways. And as for fixing the"halc problem" I a few possible fixes: Either give more incentives to not using a halc. Bring back the omicron net for a month. Or the pvpers that are complaining can just accept that it want a waste of energy, you tried for a disable and you failed.
