I cant be the only one to think this would be a huge help, I can do it on my phone right now but I have to switch it to desktop and its clumsy and slow. A Phone App would be a huge help, what do you think the chances of this are?

It would be very useful, but I don't think it'll happen. Even if it did, it would still be pretty slow.
