No. There's a glitch with the name-change feature, that only capitalizes the first letter. The rest are all lower case, regardless of what you typed them in as. Besides, do we all want our names changed? It would only cause a lot of confusion. |

The Sphere (and Glaviz Devices) only activate the Race change "subroutine" that is in the original coding of the game, way back when 20GP was the only way to do it. Having a "Super" Sphere would entail either completely changing the current Race change system to include a name change (or option to) or the creation of a second subroutine to do, for the most part, the same thing that's already there. Besides, I don't think Dan is too keen on pilots changing their names that often. Hence the 26GP artifact. It cost more to change your name than your race/profession. |
