How about displaying for all planet the Mining / Artifact / Research production for that planet, and be able to sort on that value as well.

Use the filter box. "Mining" "Arti" or "Resea" then click the sort button over the Resource column. Problem solved without Dan having to do a complete reconstruction of the Planet list screen to make room for 2 more columns.

I disagree Darth and give a +1 A BIG part of this game is min maxing planets, bricking and unbricking .. and trying to get the most out of your production as possible.. when you get on up to 100-200-300 planets .. wouldn't it be nice to sort by artifact production on the MAIN screen and see .. oh crap why is that vl 3x ONLY producing 32 arti per hour .. checking all of your planets planet by planet is very tedious and there should definitely be a better way.. And if it was too much work to modify the UI how about a little export button or something to a csv file that looks like this


PlanetName,MiningX,ArtiX,ResX,MinProd,ArtiProd,ResProd,Att,Def,Cloak,InvDef

Exotica,11,9,10,10.5,21,0,0,47500,10000,1200

and then let us play away in excel or google or whatever..

IMO that should be a VERY simple query to write and adding a small Reports button shouldn't take too much time.. Could also write reports for Unocc and Enemy planets as well and this would be INCREDIBLY useful..

If you're talking about the actual production rather than the availability, that info is more appropriately put in a tooltip (which has been asked for before) instead of the main planet list.

I'm talking about both.. when you have colonized 200 or so planets .. its HARD to find out if you have proper defenses/cloak/production on every single planet like that vl 3x research 2x arti planet that you colonized when you were level 200 and configured it for research and never went back and flipped the productions.. I understand from a web development perspective putting new filters and new columns can definitely be tricky.. but a button to download planet information quickly to a spreadsheet .. thats dirty easy and quick, benefits the user community and possibly benefits the dev's its POSSIBLE we might find planets we want to convert to storage and buy towers.. or a planet we were neglecting and want to buy a couple quasis ..
