In many other games I play, there is some sort of "premium" membership. For a monthly, or yearly, fee, you get bonuses and discounts that are worth it in the long run. I'd love to see the same sort of feature in GL. I've thought of a few advantages it would give you.
- Free ship repairs.
- Reduced invasion/colonization costs.
- Extra cargo space.
- No energy required for comms.
- Reduced timers. (Trading, hacking, invasion.) by a decent amount, as long as it's not too OP.
- 10% off GP items.
As for the cost, it could be something like 200GP per month. Worth it, imo.
