Basically this is a way of making legion wars more efficient and more official.

Your legion can send a request to another legion to start a War against them; the receiving legion can then review your legion etc and choose to accept or decline.

In this tab (the WAR tab so to speak) you then have all the people from that legion, in your rank range.

Potentially both legions can invite their Battle pacts to join in.

Wars end by surrender. Possibility for new badge items for winning wars.

Only a very early idea so would appreciate ideas/improvements.

Your legion can send a request to another legion to start a War against them at a specific Galactic Time; the receiving legion can then review your legion etc and choose to accept or decline. Then starts a countdown to that time that is displayed next to the Main Galactic clock

In this tab (the WAR tab so to speak) you then have all the people from that legion, in your rank range. In all ranges - you get the chance to disable everyone - but you can only disable each enemy ship 1 time. Players cannot be alerted.

Potentially both legions can invite their Battle pacts to join in. Better to have Just 1-1. Also, no members may join or leave either legion while it is at war.

Wars end by surrender. War ends after 24 hrs or when one legion (because each of them has disabled all of the enemy ships - very unlikely to get 100% participation from each of your legion players) has no valid targets.

Possibility for new badge items for winning wars.

Only a very early idea so would appreciate ideas/improvements.

Usually one legion doesn't want anything to do with a war while the other one just wants to tear the other legion a new one. Doubt it would work well.
