We already have Dyson Spheres, and I think Alderson Disks(?)

I suggested quite a bit ago that we add ringworlds (possibly call them "Stellar Bracelets," SBs hereafter, in case Larry Niven's lawyers are attentive of that term used in any game.)

Some higher-level users are (semi-)retiring due to nothing new for them.

Give them something to do: A string of project-missions in order to assemble new SBs. It'll require a sith-exaton of materials, but the 1k+ rank club can definitely pull it off.

And if it requires a galaxy-wide collaborative effort to put together our first SB, then so be it; that'll be fine as well.

(I think a 1-player project would be one the size seen on Halo: It just orbits a planet.

A galaxy-wide collaboration would be Niven's originally-imagined type: It encircles around an entire star from the distance of Earth's orbit.) - Asheron

If I was known to be part Jewish by heritage (and I am 1/4, in fact), would everything I suggest be rejected by anti-semites?

If I were a minority race who invented the next big thing, would white supremacists reject it and accept a very similar object from a white person? (Incidentally, I happen to be 1/2 Asian.)

Look at the suggestion / invention for its own merits. Don't reject anything based on who made it. It's a form of singling-out, which feels rather discriminatory.

They're only artifacts for planets; they aren't "planets" in their own right, which I'd hope for them to be.

I guess the Topopolis Rings as we have them now, are orbited around their planets.

A "ring-world" (or stellar bracelet) that orbits a STAR, would be a "planet" (I suppose a "colonizable object") in its own right.

I wish we'd have more objects to colonize than just planets, someday. They can be SBs, or maybe an abandoned "Unicomplex," or we make our own. - Asheron

That's only 4 of the races in the game. There are plenty more. I call for adding female avatars for the rest of them.



Suggestions you don't happen to agree with: 1st-world problems.

Topopolii of GL are, once again, planetary artifacts.

The ringworlds I've seen on Halo and other works of sci-fi are treated like planets / colonizable objects in their own right. If we can have anything shaped differently from planets to colonize on, that would add some fresh content to the game. Anything to last the higher-ranking veterans a little longer before they decide to retire.

Unless there's substantial new content for higher-ranking players, I will retire (or maybe semi-retire?) from the game when my rank hits the year I hit that rank. (So if I'm Rank 2017 by 2017, that'll be it for me.)

1st of all no one -1 your sugetions just cause you make them, only a moron would do such a thing. I read them then -1 them cause there not needed or not to well needs tweeking. Pulling the race care was lame but so are 90% the comments made in this post .

Xzien, like your one to talk! you request that I be nicer to you then go after people like this. If I ever see your legion on my BT, of I every scan any good planets or your legions. ( if you even have any) Or if your base EVER hits rank 6 I will be there.
