Within the settings section: How about Vacation Mode for when we have to be away from the internet for an extended period? I play another browser game called Zorg Empire that does have a vacation mode; here is how GL could implement it: Once Vacation Mode is activated, the game is unavailable to the player for the next 48 hours (this is to prevent using Vacation Mode as a defensive tactic). Vacation Mode auto-expires at the end of 30 days (it can be turned back on, but this requires accessing the game again). (Translated to Galaxy Legion - While in Vacation Mode) 1. The player's ship will not require upkeep and will not appear on anyone's battle tab. 2. The player's planets cannot be invaded (they could still be scanned) 3. The player will not contribute to the legion bonus (but will have a special icon differentiate them from an inactive player for the situational awareness of the rest of the legion). 4. All planetary production ceases. Not sure if it might be nearly impossible to block access to a game played exclusively through FB (without blocking out FB), so, maybe this could be activated with some sort of newly minted artifact? A "Suspended Animation Pod" would allow the player to activate Vacation Mode from their Settings section. If the artifacts aren't available in an artifact haul, but maybe from an NPC, that would help keep Vacation Mode from being overused (or used too much as a tactic). - Asheron |

+1 to vacation mode. See what happens when you don't pull out the race card? |

This could also prevent players from getting kicked from their legion due to inactivity, good thinking for once. +1. honestly |

I think restrictions upon it aren't covered here very well though. You should be 2 days passive, I think. Don't make it an artifact though. There are other - more effective ways of restricting use. |

Nope, no need. 3 days after becoming inactive you no longer pay upkeep, problen solved. Who says they could have stopped the planets being taken in the first place? So worse than now then. Same as now. |

True, just saying. Asheron finally seems to be doing something productive doing something other than attracting a fight and being a -1 pit. Though I agree, personally I think it should just be a setting in the tab where the next time you go inactive it displays "on vacation" rather than "inactive" for three weeks if you go inactive within those three weeks (after which it simply displays inactive). No difference between going inactive, just a different label so legion leaders won't kick you thinking you've lost interest. No invincibility or anything. |

+1 to vacation mode as a label for legion leaders. No uber defence or anything just a label in legion. Also you should be able to type in the number of days you should be away so leaders and officers know when to expect you back. |

We already have it. bobdebouwer wrote: Nope, no need. 3 days after becoming inactive you no longer pay upkeep, problen solved. Who says they could have stopped the planets being taken in the first place? So worse than now then. Same as now. Nice try though, you're starting to pull out of your bad suggestion streak. |

I'm not gonna sit around checking to see when certain players get back from "vacation mode" just so I can take their planets, especially since your iteration of this idea involves no way of me knowing their vacation status without being a member of their legion. |
