(Insert Name) Increases a base's attack capacity by 5, and Defense Capacity by 10. Silver badges required 2.
I'm aware that Dan has introduced the new silthion boss that drops something to increase attack by 100, that's why i have this artifact increasing it by 5 instead. Plus if he hasn't already i'm sure he'll bring in a boss that drops something to increase base defense as well. But yeah just a little bit more variety in increasing a bases stats, so we don't have bases with the same stats.

The new silthion boss' artifact is good enough at the time being.

I like the idea, but 10 silvers is still too low. I'm only rank 742 and have 382 silvers saved up. Which means I alone could improve my base by 190att and 380def. 50 silvers would be a much better amount. It's not OP, and not a waste of a lot of silvers between an active legion

There's already an artifact to permanently increase a bases attack and defense. Making more would make bases too tough too quickly.

Note that i do agree with you that bases are going to get too tough too quickly, if a way was introduced to repeatably increase base defenses.

I thought the new Silthion NPC dropped Defence. It's Attack.

Umm..sorry but peoples ships are getting to the point where u can solo a lvl 5+ base, not many can do it but bases are starting to get weaker than a players ship, bases are meant to be tough even with BP's, The higher the base, the more dmg, u can do to them, i hear Romanoid Of Red dwarf Solo'd (or the majority of it anyway) GP's base, So IMO we need this artifact, we need to get bases back to being tough for everyone, just like we need more cloak then scan to keep things balanced.

based on the hull:def ratio of a fully equipped base w/o clamps, amount of stat added by clamps, cost of the clamp and the amount of stat a bases have w/o clamps used, an appropriate price, imo, would be 20-25 badges for the suggested artifact.

Exactly, even though some people can easily tear through bases, the other 90% of the galaxy has a pretty rough time of it. Making bases stronger would hurt the little guys more than anything.

That is a good point, however that is where artifact production comes in...to make your ship stronger, yes it's tough for that 90% but it's their fault for not putting up their AP, yes it is tough for some people but's not that hard where u can't improve your ship. U make your ship stronger u can then do more to bases, that's how mento and other massive hitters do it, as we all know. But people have suggested that the price of the suggested artifact to be like 50+ silver badges, and i agree with that.
