How about a mission chain, one that continues on from the exotica chain, with the extended chain the 1st mission could reward 3 exotics (just like the vorigar mission and other missions that reward 5 or less planets) (Productions would be random) it would use energy and EM.

The second mission could upgrade the exotic pulser's size 10, attack 150, reduces max energy by 20 while online.

The 3rd mission could upgrade the exotic turret, same size attack 500, +5% attack. limit 1 per planet.

The 4th mission could upgrade the exotic barrier, same size defense 500, +5% defense. limit 1 per planet.

The 5th mission could upgrade the exotic lab, same size research +3, limit 1 per planet.

The 6th and final mission could (now this could be a long shot but) introduce a new race that use EM to build everything of theirs including their ship's to colonizing only exotic planets. ect...

But all these mission's use energy and EM.

how about a second ctl that requires e.m. to make an attempt. I will work on this idea later although I'm not sure how great it is since my ideas at night are always bad.

Hey you can always come to ol Tree and buy toxic uplifts with EM!

Still better than most of Asheron's ideas.

Whatever it is, Political Favor needs it more than Exotic Matter.

Use Exotic Matter to boost production of a planet.
If planet population is 2000, then every 2000 Exotic Matter will produce 1% more.
Pretty much like an exaltation, where the population feels excessive exhilaration, and
is willing to "over produce".

Make that 200k, 2000 is about what I get in few hours (Maybe more time) at rank 295...

Dont forget bases use them!
Then planetary structures.
You can easily spend a couple of mill on purgers mission.

Em has dropped because CTP has rocketed, EM hasn't changed, CTP has.

2000 EM x 2000 pop = + 1%
4000 EM x 2000 pop = + 2%

Now, spread that across all of your planets.

It should probably be an Artifact of sorts to be able to "house" the EM, instead
of just "dumping" it on the planet.
