Post subject:  An ssb Boss.

So I think that an ssb Boss/Elite would be cool. For example:
Rank 50
Defence: 200
Attack: 15000
Hull 50000
Shield: 25000
Share for ranks 1000-999
Abilities: Chance to lower the attack of an attacking ship by 60%. Lasts 30 min. Can only be removed by a null fuse.

And a lower ranked variant:
Rank 20
Defence: 100
Attack 3000
Hull:12000
Shields:6000
Share for ranks 100-600
Abilities: Chance to lower its own damage cap by 10%. Lasts 30 minutes, effect stacks.

For the reward you guys can give some suggestions and if the stats are off, please tell me, they are only examples.

NPCs already have set caps. 2.5x their rank. No need to make it more complicated.

so a rank 50 boss shareable only to players level 1000 and 999 :roll:

It is becuase the dmg cap it low, 125 for the level 50 boss. And as for the second ability, how about, gains 50% more atk?

You do know higher ranks can kill anything? A lower cap won't stop them.

Umm... yeah? So make them waste some en. Some very cool rewards, if higher ranks can kill anything, maybe for 100-600ish.

assume same atk/def, there is no difference between a rank 10 NPC with 10k hull+shield vs a rank 1000 NPC with 1m hull+shield

This, although more NPCs at all ranks are good. S'long as they aren't a pile of poop.

Okay... just saying, but an ssb would require around a set amount of en to kill, whereas a high level one just uas a lot of def.

Millions of hull, 2k a pop maximum OR thousands/millions of hull, 100 or 200 per hit. What difference does it make? It's just a handful of energy to the high-ranks...

An additional NPC won't hurt, just saying that SSB or not, there's hardly any care given
