One thing I really love about Castle Age facebook game is it's boss and epic battles that requires teamwork and army to win..

I would love to see one here where I could use my legion to coordinate and win any epic events and share some of awesome loot, fame, money etc that can take up to 1 week of fighting for a win or for a defeat.. That would set this Galaxy Legion, social game, apart from stand-alone games such as Master of the Orion 2.

Love to see these, also allow for cross legion grouping.

How would you see these working? In castle age basically you just have to be high enough level and you can participate after finishing off the quest chain. Is that the way to go or should things be more like special events that happen say during a specific week?

I also like the idea of certain things that can only be found through scanning. Maybe some elements could exist in for all?

I see there is a quest line called invisible pirates that just came up for me. I don't know if the quest is a chain or a one off but wouldn't it be cool if after completing the quest I could have some kind of showdown to battle those pirates? What if that chained off of the escort a cargo ship, rescue a frigate/freighter, and some of those quests? Plot ties ins and advancement are rather satisfying.

As someone mentioned MOO2 what about finding planets that are guarded by creatures you have to battle before you can claim the planet? Or randomly scanning and finding space creatures that you can battle like a budong (points if you get the reference)?

Also what are these toys that the prejor keep mentioning are we going to see them and be able to battle them?

When Castle Age started out, we had first boss event: Dragons.. We didn't even have to be high rank to do it.. Now.. Castle Age ages, they introduced more and more boss events with higher minimum level to take on tougher ones but they STILL have dragons and other low-level boss/epic fights for lower level players to enjoy..

I'm sure that this Galaxy Legion would follow the same concept: Introduce boss/epic events for players of any ranks at first then when it ages, it would start to introduce tougher ones that requires higher minimum rank to participate.. That way over time, GL will have many events that can accomodate to any ranks..

To start boss/epic event, could mine rare resources to create temporal rift and our job is to close it, discover a rare planet with hidden space monster waiting to be sprung open to attack, etc. You get the idea..
