We need more uses for it, once u have built your Shield Charging Station, Repair Bay, and your Docking Ports there is no use for them (that i am aware of) but still even if there is it needs more uses, those base mods don't require much XTS-9.

Why not more missions that need it, maybe ship mods that "eat" it like they do credits but you need it to keep them functioning, if it powers warp gates why can't it power other things, maybe even have a base booster that would use up larger amounts of it and other materials. Fuse it with minerals to make all new items. Could use it on planets to change them (who is to say it couldn't give a planet a whole new look?).

Just curious about the logic... More things that need XTS9 means you would have to do the mission that gives it as a reward more often. Doing that mission more often means you would lose more crew members. Why would I want to lose crew members?

They are saying the resource itself is underused and needs more use, not that you loosing 1 crew memeber every 2 mission completions is a problem, Yes it needs more uses, Yes to that idea +1

well your question wont be answered till a new use for xts-9 is invented/created.

So sorry I cant answer your question nor can anyone else until such updates happen (lets hope legion missions require this at some point).

But to me loosing 1 crew member is nothing off the skin off my back and I feel sorry for you if it is for you and that its the only reason you have against this idea.

I get it depending upon the reward it may not be worth it, but you did the medal that requires you to LOOSE 8 crew memebers for nothing other then being able to say you have 15 medal points woohoo!

So why complain about an idea that may require a resource that is currently way undervalued and will give you much more benefit then the 15 medal points that currently grant you nothing? the XTS-9 Silo was not all that great...

You would want to do the mission and loose crew members so that you could get the new things that XTS-9 would be used for. If I have to I could elaborate on the above ideas to flesh them out more, but I am sure everyone has some ideas that it could be used for.

Like the idea as Im stuck on 5/8 on the progression of that medal award =/

I know right...I want my crew to die. Then want usage for the xts-9 stuff and will kill off my crew to get more after the award...haha. I dont get how people are complaining on this one, I mean yes it can kill your crew, but maybe the reward they add will be worth it....Im not sure i like it used as fuel, but then again the pro could very well outweigh the con on this one. I will at least be open minded.
