How about an artifact for hull, attack, and def that increase the hull's by 10%, turrets by 10% each and defense by 10% each, would make sense.

hull= exo clamps

attack= NPC drops from hyperports and clusters

Defense...too soon. It is still a challenge to start doing significant damage, having this would basically end base battles.

Yes but those are unlimited use, the resistor overcharges, are a limited thing, if we have those WHY not have them. Your excuse is invalid, Just like our ships, we want our bases stats constantly growing even if that means another module or an artifact that increases this or that.

I think a hull version of the overcharges (called overplating?) is a good idea

i have to disagree....

it takes a lot of effort to kill a good base... some are near invulnerable (no longer is the record reflect any base NOT disabled)...

yes we kill bases in minutes often, but it really does require a serious investment of energy usually from a large group of players.

hulls have emergency repairs. Shields don't. Same with the full repair.

I agree with Fear here. Besides, Fixers are more common than Physicists.

You can get a lot of attack just from clusters.
Adding more defense is gonna make it very very hard for lower legions to kill bases. - which is a bad thing

As the system is now, exo clamps are not hard to get in bulk and any legion can add dozens of these a day.
It just takes legion members putting the base defense before their own personal gain of having barrier nexus on every planet.
