I have a planet on scan Ulchinn which is a Mega Colossal Rift Planet (Extremely Rare) with rings!!
It has stats 29x Mining 6x Artifact and 3x Research.
This was initially shared by a leader in an old legion I was in who stopped playing over a year ago. It is scanned by 3 other ships but the planet is invincible so cannot be invaded or even attacked??? This is a complete waste of such an elite planet a more active player might benefit from.
Suggestion : If a player is inactive for a year or more Invincible effects should disappear

1. It's a horrible waste of a rift to start with....
2. NO, or some rich guy can and will end up with 200 rifts in a year's time.
3. a inactive-owned invic planet is no more valuable than a VTES planet under a proper judgement of values, and that's how you should look at it. What's really "wasted" is a 14x toxic(I'm guessing toxic anyway) and that's a dime a dozen.

When it becomes available to attack it's fair game. Who ever scanned it can do what they like to it regardless of how much GP is in the bank. Cloak, Attack, Defense will all still remain unaffected - just the invincible effect.
I also dunno how you think a 14x Toxic will be as valuable as a 29x Mega Colossal Rift Planet with rings !

Dan will never change remove the invincibilty off of these planets. Too much potential for abuse.

I just wish you could undo a rift. even if the planet disappeared altogether and you could do the mission again... lol

Ah ya - I see your point now with multiple accounts... would it really be worth the effort? The time to make a rift and then go inactive for more than a year ?!?

It's a limitied use item that can get you the best producing planets in the game that can not be taken. Of course it's worth the effort.

It's not like his main account have to do anything different. All that would really require the main account to do is NOT purge a certain 200 planets. Not exactly a huge deal (other than making scan runs harder, but if he's gonna get 200 rifts in a year, you can see how he wont care much for scan runs.

The planet, based on its stats, is likely to be a 14x toxic with rings before the rifting. Frankly, all that disappeared from the "universe" is a 14x toxic. Rift? that's something that one player brought into the game and thus have no bearing on the overall game environment.

I'm sure that rich guy would get banned pretty quickly for having 67 alts before he gets 200 rifts.

Unlikely making an account via a proxy auto rank to rank 50 collect the planets from the main players scan exactly the same as the thousands of planets trades that occur rift it and go offline and the account is never used again, repeat as many times as you wish.

This idea get's suggested every few months it will never happen, a better suggestion would be a "Do not Suggest list" to avoid these constant repeats.

there are also ways to do it that's technically legit. For example, get your friends that doesn't play GL to help you.
Ofc, finding 67 ppl to do so would be incredibly hard, but 200 is really an exaggeration. It's at least possible to get a few.
And because there is this legit method, you can argue as such with ur proxy accounts and Dan really can't prove that you are lying. And if it comes down to Dan's power to ban WITHOUT cause(as he cannot prove the "cause"), because all those account have money spent in them, it will cause complications.

I would assume he would ban just the one account.
And given the tos that everyone has to agree to their really is no complications to be had.
Maybe an angry email or two and a quickly deleted forum post, but that's probably all.

how is it the "friends" money? money spent on main account is most certainly their own. And there is nothing they can do if they were banned for a specific reason, but as I stated above, there is no proof of violation of ToS so it would have to be a ban WITHOUT reason. Which while can be done, is complicated if money is involved.

Oh yeah. The 1-3 rifts would be theirs. The ones beyond that though wouldn't be. Dan could also just take those away and purge them from the main account.

and if your friends dont like it. how are you going to get most of them to level their accounts up to 25 to unlock the mission, then trust them with your credit card (or get them to spend money on a game they dont like) to get those 40 Quasis?

Or if they do like the game, how would you get them to cooperate with you?
