This is not supposed to be specifically about making it low-rank friendly, it is just the fact that all of the releases planned or that have happened so far for this year are legion related, and I like the individual aspects. |

Well DUH! many of the releases in the 2 YEARS BEFORE hand where individual related. you know, missions and such! pvp, many npc!. Legion things are being added cause the individual was already added! |

PVP, unless you alert everyone you hit, NPC, unless you only find elites and bosses, Planets, unless you alert every single planet you find, and missions, except Legion missions, are all primarily individual tasks. Focus more on low rank oriented stuff? There is 5 times as much to do for low ranks than there is for high ranks, more NPC's, more missions available, a larger group of PVP targets in range. I don't know you, but based on your suggestion, i would guess you are a pretty low rank, something like mid to late 200's? Probably in a fairly big legion with a few high rankers, so you're all working on the Legion missions? While those are hard at your presumed rank, and take a relatively large amount of effort to complete, there are still loads of other things for someone your rank to be doing, because you see the thing about this game is, you can't ever stop ranking. Now since most things in this game have limited rank ranges, that means eventually everything good will be gone, leaving you nothing but repeatable missions and annoying NPC's (flamehawks and assassins anyone) that everyone hates, as well as the same list of 20 or so names on the BT, showing up over and over and over and over again, forever. No offense, but this is one of the worst suggestions i have ever heard. And there have been some seriously bad suggestions on these forums. (not saying any names) Dan needs to do the exact opposite of what you're suggestion, and work harder on more high-ranked content, aimed at bringing people together. |

It's probably smarter to make things Legion-oriented, because having Legion stuff will help keep people in the game. |

Yeah see I am thinking about low ranks because I (near rank 300 but approaching autoleveling) can't do most of the legion missions because of energy costs and nothing would piss me off more than having something like a legion mission completely unattainable, which it is for most low ranks. The game needs to grow and keep players playing, and although legion aspects do need to be a focus, both high and low ranks need to be targeted within that. There are a lot of solo aspects for lower level players, but if I am correct in thinking that missions tend to dwindle at around rank 1,200 then perhaps more individual stuff should happen nearer to then. High ranking players are usually in big legions, so, no offense, you don't need to have as much legion oriented content development. So to clarify, more focus on younger legion oriented stuff, and more on older individual stuff. Perhaps rank-leveled tasks would help? |

A low-level legion task that adds a smaller success chance would provide better unity for most legions. I know our lowbies would appreciate more realistic opportunities to contribute in this fashion, but there's nothing inherently wrong or unfair about not having low tasks. Legion missions aren't going anywhere. Build your ship like the high levels did at your level and they'll still be there for you when you're ready. |
