Composite Ray mounting increase from 4-8-12)

New Battle Market Item that increases the amount of Composite Rays you can have installed. 500 Dark badges to increase from 4-8 for the first upgrade 1000 to increase the max to 12 for the second and final upgrade.
1500 Dark badges total for the maximum.
This wont really unbalance the game as you still have to earn the dark badges to open up the additional slots and pay for the Composite Rays, AND have the decks available to mount them.

id say use more dark badges cause high rankers get them stupidly quick, OR make there a composite ray upgrade (+20% stats to one ray at random, usable 15 times per ray for a total of 300% the usual bonus [usual being 0%] at the usual cost of a ray per upgrade- 304 badges i think) so all in all you get 4x the overall power from null rays (same as having 16 online) at the price of 15 null rays per null ray, so 60 overall, for 18000 dark badges roughly. i think thats feasable and much more in keeping with the trends of other items, if it wasnt for the fact composite rays are CRAP to begin with. (that +80 makes SUCH a difference even if your attack is as low as 10000 like mine lol) oh and make it a medal point upgrade like the other badge types have.
and if its confusing, simplify it for me im #&$# at explanations.
or better yet- restructure it like dom cannons with 3 types plus an upgrade, only make the rank gaps bigger cause dark badges are harder for low ranks to get. so like- Composite ray (requires rank zero)- +12 size +80 attack or whatever - 304 badges each (didnt get my first one till rank 250+) Composite ray Mk-II (requires rank 400) +15 size +200 attack or something like that - 720 badges each (potentially a bit of a stretch cost wise for this rank range, will probably be skipped by most) Composite ray Mk-III (rank 800) +20 size +500 attack - 1500 badges each (should be about affordable with maybe a little room to spare) Composite Meta-Shooter * (rank 1200) +28 size +1200 attack, 2500 or 3200 badges each* *Better name please. *3200 is more in keeping with the scaling costs but 2500 is more feasible to the average player unless you wanna have people limit their spending on previous ones to jump on the upgrades as soon as they can
i think these numbers are about as realistic as i could expect, but dan would probably halve the attack bonuses, he doesnt realise how tiny and insignificant most of the attack bonuses from weapons are considering the effort you put in to get them. like the mission rewards with like +20 defence +40 attack and the "you did X-amount of missions, you get +35 attack +55 defence artifact" at least make modules like those have an attack bonus that could scale or be increased by ranking up, so they are competetive with equipment available and the numbers needed at your current rank range, cause for anyone other than a rank 1-200 noob, these are useless. (and i know things like +80 scan modules can really add up cause if things like that were all increased, max scan would be like 30k, not a good idea just yet)

Another reason it wont unbalance the game is because it would be equally available to everyone. Though id rather see upgrades to the existing ones.
