Of the 4.9 million planets in game i would like to see about 2 million + of the crappy ones removed, its very dissapointing going on a scan run and finding nothing but total #&$# planets 99% of the time.

-1 - if all the planets crappy planets were eliminated, then it would be too easy to improve in this game. No challenge, no game...

-1 If all of the currently "crappy" planets were removed, then your definition of "crappy" would change and in 6 months you'd be clamoring for all of the currently medium planets (which by then are considered crappy) to be removed.
They can't all be dysons, and with the rate that planets are being improved galaxy wide, the number of valuable ones available to scan just keeps increasing. After all, worse ones are not getting any worse (with the exception of the Chthonian Exchanger ....)

You need to accept the good with the bad. Those crappy planets help balance out scan runs.

Ok so maybe 2 million is too many to remove but there is 4,905,495 planets in the game, do we really need that many when there is probably only a few thousand active players at most.

Yes

By the terms itself, the word "average" means par. And therefore only planet below average would be considered "bad planets". Which means bad planets is actually, by definition of the term, a very % of the planet base.

Yet we consider a vast majority of planets to be "bad planets" due to our perception on the relative power of different planets. Ppl seriously likes to take things for granted

The only change planet wise I want to see is that your first scan planet on the tutorial is at least large size with at least abundant in one attribute. Everything else is fine IMO.

I would like to see a mission Repeatable. like 100 NRG per time, 100 EXP given. 10 compleation + 1 CM per time so you need 10 total. and u get an aty.

the Arty for 100nrg blows up the planet . it forms a debrises feild on your npc battle tab. ( unocupide planets only )

the fallowing options happen . Anailzy . for 50 ,100, 500, 1,000 nrg, you can only do it once! the more nrg u spend the more u anilize and the better the rewared.

RP planets can give rp points

MP, you can find minerals in

AP wil have ap points. as comon drops.

then each type of planets for uncommon and rare drops can have there own artys, planet mods maybe even long lost ship mods.

the planet gets removed from the data base and systlem being demolished like this. Dan can eassaly add more.

Just be thankful it's a script that generates the planets, else they would arrive at a SNAILS pace. Can you imagine trying to input 5 MILLION planets 1 by 1?

Why did the "remove kebab" fad come to mind when I read the title? xD

Genesis device (1 awarded every 100 ranks):

can only be used on planets size M or smaller.

increases size of planet by 1, randomly generating new planet type (based on size), with random richness (based on planet type rolled, but in 'normal' range for that planet type).

planet types available:

when starting planet size VL to M (VL increases to M size; M to VM): volcanic, gas, barren
when starting planet size A to L (A increases to L; L to VL): icy, desert, toxic (plus any of the above)
when starting planet size VS to S (VS increases to S; S to A): metallic, oceanic, terra (plus any of the above)
when starting planet size VT to T (VT increases to T; T to VS): exotic (plus any of the above)

edited: added in size M as well ... best would be a VM volcanic from a M barren ... and that really is not overpowered.

Woah, this is very interesting. +1 to this.
-1 to the original post, as that would just make it too easy.
