As many of you know as you level your base the level of bases you scan changes Ie level 6 the minimum base you can scan is level 3 level 7 base minimum scan is level 4. But what many players don't know is there is a hard cap on this after level 4 bases so regardless of your base level IE level 8 level 9 you will still scan level 4 bases. Placed this in Issues and support and i don't feel that this is a suggestion rather a fix, There isn't a lot of reason to rank your base to level 8 certainly is no incentive to rank it to level 9. Removing this cap would at least give some meaning to ranking your base up. |

There's no hard cap. The calculation is: Code: Minimum Level Scan-able = Your Base's Level / 2 Therefore at level 9, you'll no longer be able to see level four bases. Then again, this is all purely based on observations. If you do the math you'll see the above conforms to the actual going-ons in game. 3 / 2 = 2 (rounded 1.5) 4 / 2 = 2 5 / 2 = 3 (rounded 2.5) 6 / 2 = 3 7 / 2 = 4 (rounded 3.5) 8 / 2 = 4 9 / 2 = 5 (rounded 4.5) |
