Remove the "Transport" timer

ICBLF Joined: Sat Jul 02, 2011 6:52 pm Posts: 1663 Location: where the dead ships dwell	Remove the "Transport" timer I think I understand the reasoning behind all the other timers in the system, but I don't understand why there's a trade timer. Can it be removed? In case there's any confusion as to what I'm talking about: _________________

I suspect the timer has more of an affect legitimate trade than it does on alts funneling items to a main account. Pretty easy for a multi to check in to the alts every 5 or so minutes and send more stuff to their main. That is to say, if the timer really is in place to mitigate multi abuse, it does a poor job of that while doing a great job of interrupting legitimate players. _________________

This was put in place to allow people who use something like a college network (blanket IP) to play without being considered a multi-account, but mitigated (to an extent) the effectiveness of having multiple accounts. maybe something like this could be implimented? Where you simply can't send /anything/ to a player on the same IP address, but can send whenever you want to others.
