I think I understand the reasoning behind all the other timers in the system, but I don't understand why there's a trade timer. Can it be removed?

i have said this before. this timer hardly inpacts the game and is more of an anoyance than helpful |

Pretty easy for a multi to check in to the alts every 5 or so minutes and send more stuff to their main. That is to say, if the timer really is in place to mitigate multi abuse, it does a poor job of that while doing a great job of interrupting legitimate players. |

With games like Ogame, you have an IP alert where you can't send resources or do specific actions against people who have the same IP address. This was put in place to allow people who use something like a college network (blanket IP) to play without being considered a multi-account, but mitigated (to an extent) the effectiveness of having multiple accounts. maybe something like this could be implimented? Where you simply can't send /anything/ to a player on the same IP address, but can send whenever you want to others. It might slow down the transfer of resources from a feeder account. |
