The galaxy is huge and full of different things, so why not be able to find something other than planets and enemy bases? It would be that a Legion could scan for something in the same way as you'd scan for a base, but your scan would be taken into account (as if scanning for planets). Would cost 10 energy a go and 5 Blue badges. The more value the anomaly is, the higher its cloak/rareness would be. Depending on the resource richness, it would have a timer on how long your Legion can interact with it; *If Average, then a two hour timer. *If Very Abundant, a eight hour timer. *If Mega Rich, a twelve hour timer. Each Anomaly would have only one resource attached to it. Each member of a Legion would be able to "mine" it, at a energy cost. This would be as a ability that lasted an hour and granted a boost to your resource production. (Essentially a boost to your next production shipment, and you'd have to spend more energy once its expired to continue "mining".) Different Anomalies - *Asteroid - Probably most common, each would have a different level of minerals for a Legion to mine. Grants - Mineral Points *Spatial Rift - Somewhat rare, these allow Exotic Matter into the universe to be mined. Grants - Exotic Matter *Data Pod - Uncommon, these contain information about various races and planets in the universe. Grants - Research Points *Seeding Hulk - Uncommon, these contain ancient technology and artefacts. Grants - Artefact Points The next ones would grant a fixed amount of whatever resource they have, and would have a shorter timer. *Ancient Satellite - Uncommon, Deactivated and heavily damaged, some parts may be salvaged. Grants - CTP *Lost Hauler - Common/Uncommon, An automated ship used to carry toxic materials. Grants - XTS-9 *Planetary Beacon - Deactivated or drifted from where it should be, finding it will improve your races/legions favour with the authorities. Grants - Political Favour A Legion would be able to hold one Anomaly per Base level. Any thoughts on this? |

I feel that this is one of many different things that bases probably should get to do. I'd be more in support of Legion controlled stars, planets, or other large entity objects. As far as the benefits of controlling such a thing your suggestions are okay but I don't think that you should be able to have one per base level. Maybe just 1. I'm not sure how I feel at the moment so it's neither a +1 or -1 as of yet. |
