it would be nice if the tech tree was either color coded, or had #'s or symbols on the bottom right corner of the box. that way when its scrolling you can easily tell what tier it belongs to. |

Yes, that'll be very helpful so can know which tier of the tech belongs to.. |

Ditto. I would also like to see the current research-able tech always on top. |
