Has to be a relatively experienced and mature player.
Must possess proper grammar.
Must have been a member for 1 year (arbitrary number, no "new" members)

Ill add Annabell myself, we've had our differences, but you would be a fine mod.

Slightly related question.
Should mods be permanent, or have some sort of term?

I feel a term is best. Things such as growing inactive may keep a person from serving forever as seen with Baci and Aggross.

ICBLF is also a great nomination. As for MLP, I understand why he wasn't nominated because he uses his troll grammar most of the time. As for ICBLF, I think that he's a front runner for the spot, he knows his stuff.

and also I suggest to keep them as mod for 1 year, after which we can review if they are active or not much (RL or other reasons)
In case the mod is not able to be active any more - it should be possible to replace the mod within a month.

P.S - Preliator Xzien has now been banned.

My votes would be for Mojo and Annabell... I would prefer to see those with semi level heads who appear to be objective in all aspects of the game.. I would prefer to see someone at the upper rank limits and someone at the midranks hence my nominations..

the issue can be solved and I assume also will be solved. The guys will have then will to avoid same approach in future I would assume.

I would like to be a moderator and participate in making this game better, but I am not very well known. That being said, I would nominate Varunjit, Xzien (I know he's banned right now), and senatorhung.

I think... it's hard to nominate a moderator. I suspect many people will merely nominate their friends, or their legion mates and it is hard to distinguish who is doing so. Of course there are those who will nominate honestly, and it will still be their friend or legion mate. There will be people here nominating realistically though too.

Then we have people who will nominate themselves. You can look at it multiple ways. On one hand, this means that they actually want to be a moderator. On the other, if they're being too eager... well... there's a reason that asking to be an officer of a legion tends to bump you further down the list for promotion.

The thing is, this will not come down to a public vote and of that I am glad. It would become a popularity contest (which I am 99% certain it would be one of maybe 3 people who come to mind).

With all that said, I'm not sure who I would nominate. To a point, the people who spend a ridiculous amount of time on the forum are those who will be able to do the job best. Those who generally just hop on and off wont be online often enough. On this front, Varun seems like a contender. Something about him, however, does not allow me to think he would make a good moderator. I'm not even wholly certain what it is. Perhaps it is simply the tone of his posts. I don't know.

Many people have suggested Darth Flagitious. This is also not a suggestion I could willingly back. Whilst a frequent presence on the forum (though less-so of late), he has a habit of being extremely sarcastic at often inappropriate times. This is something that means I cannot agree with him becoming moderator.

ICBLF isn't a bad suggestion at all, however. I haven't really seen any glaring personality flaws of his. He enjoys the game and has generally been shown to be pretty level headed.

ODragon I don't see on the forum all that much. That's mostly looking at posts and not the "Viewing this forum", so he could be a lurker but would not get my vote for that reason.

Pretty much the same goes for Annabell, really. And Mojo.

I'm not going to comment on all of the current nominees, but I'm also going to give support to Kirkeastment.

I'm somewhat flattered to see my own name listed there. I would certainly not complain if I were given the position. I would like to be the moderator, and I think I could do a good job of it.
