Hello,

I think the halcyon trap could be quite irritating when doing pvp, I'd like to see some nerfing to it.

*Perhaps make the effect last for 5 mins only, and If people are looking for some quiet hours they should use calming amplifiers instead (maybe boost calming amplifier effect to 8 hours too).

*or maybe apply it to 'hacking and raiding' instead of 'disabling and raiding'

*or a special npc dropped artifact called Null missile "as null fuse"

Also, the quantum firewall trap doesnt make much sense for me, it's more like a punishment after you get your hacking done.

*Maybe it will make more sense it gets applied 'Before' your first hack instead of being applied 'after' your first hack, and maybe the effect gets nerfed a bit(take 90% cloaking or less)....i.e. if you hack someone who have QFT trap and you have 3k cloak, only 1.5k(-50%) cloak works first time you hack him.

Halc is fine as it is. The only change needed is only to make it trip automatically on FIRST attack and without tripping other traps - KVT, Omicron, Thetacron.

As for QFT, I agree that it is far too punishing - 2 HOURS without hacking, and potentially being more likely in others BT ?
I suggest it to be nerfed only for 1 hour.

No no no no no... I don't even use halcyons, but they should not be changed. As for tripping first attack, are you dumb? Do you not ever bump people from your battle tab?

Search the forums there must be 100's of threads about this and every time it's from people that don't pvp smart and expect to kill everyone on their tab.

The halcyon works fine as it is, but it should be put on a hair-trigger, and go off 3-5 hits in.

I don't PVP much, so ive saved up loads of Nulls, probably something like 2500 of them by now, which means that on those rare occasions where i do PVP, the QVT's don't mean anything.
But, of course, the intended function of the QVT could be a punishment. I have no idea what Dan's plan for those were, or whether or not he succeeded with what he was trying to do.

Dunno if anyone suggested it (I didn't read the other comments :P ) but if the QFT blocked the hack and prevented you from using TMs on the guy, I think it would be a lot better.

-1 on the Halcyon trap change

The QFT needs to prevent the hack, not set off after you lose RP.
