OK, this will probably be controversial, but here goes anyway.

PLEASE, Dan, can you add some switch in the numbers that makes A) Caelon a little more likely to show, or B) guaranteed to show after a certain number of NPCs have been disabled since rank 300...

I've been NPCing actively for about 100 ranks now, killing approximately 150 NPCs a rank, which makes for 15000 (ish) kills since I was looking for Caelon. Before anyone says it, I know it's just bad luck with the RNG (I found the larvae in ten minutes), but it's just frustrating (and I needed a place to rant :) ). I've already decided that I'm stopping Caelon hunting when I turn a year old, and trying to recover my ship with a bit of slow ranking. Yes, I got some nice artis in the 100 ranks I've been hunting, uplifted several planets, but my ship is even more of a tin can than it was now...

I hate to say it but iv found both, and they were in about ten months of game play but i know people in my leigion that havent foudn either and they are coming on the 2 year mark. i have almost 11k NPC kills now. it could be your scan and it could be the RGN hates you. we all have our luck, good and bad.

best bet is check your scan and make sure its up to it.

Sadly complaining about Spawn rates of events and NPcs is common but if they were altered wouldnt that cheapen the accomplishment of having it happen? Be it finding a NAtural Dyson, a Rare NPC, Getting Rare Loot, plantery events, or even finding Planetary perminant abilities. if the spawn rates are altered what happens to those that either by dumb luck like me, or hard work of killing Thosands upon Thosands of NPCS? Do we get some sort of reward for having done it the hard way, or are we merely ignored cause we already managed to do get it? For the Game designers and team to be fair about it what happens on our end?

Because the request is as old as the gag is. Why do people always ask for the game to be easier?
