i can't get enough of these little arty's and i know a lot of people who use them (obviously).

i think they should be able to be bought via GP, no more than 16 GP i should say

uh... using 10 GP for energy refills can get you more than 1 Extractor.

that completely depends on what ship you have...

if you would like to suggest an amount cost then go ahead, im no good at estimating costs for this game

And 30 GP of refills probably nets you more than one Terraformer, but they still sell for 36 GP

have to say i'm against it in terms of goes against the spirit of the game to sell them for gp.

yes you can buy terraformers, qses, prisoners etc... but those are all about approving your planets or ship. Extractors are usually albeit not always, used to remove items from planets you conquer.

If anything maybe a extractor than can only be used on your own (i.e. held more than 1 week like the warpers)...

Well heck, let's just add ALL NPC-dropped artifacts to the GP market because that's the only fair option. As it stands there are no NPC artis in the GP store. And before yinz get all "but Darth, Terraformers, Fluxes and Quasis... Dur," lemme give you a brief history lesson. Originally, those items were available from your artifact point production and there were no NPCs. After NPCs started, Dan added the TO Troop Carrier, Dark Arms Carrier and that lowbie Dark somethingerother specifically to alleviate some of the "unfairedness" of GP vs F2P when he yanked all the awesome artis from the draw.
