yes ive posted a few suggestions lately, more than usual but i have another one that hopefully others should agree with. The Problem: there have been many people who like to spam join peoples legion's, to either find alerted planets, npc's or to poach others members and to waste other base's ability points, i hopefully have found a way to resolve this a classic example: 1) viewtopic.php?f=7&t=36234 2) viewtopic.php?f=7&t=36439&start=0 My suggestion: to stop people from doing this i hope to see these rules being implemented (and to be chosen by the leader) into the game: 1. when open recruitment is set , anyone who joins must wait 24 hours before any planet (either legion or enemy owned) to be seen by un-loyal members 2. when open recruitment is set, anyone who joins must wait 12 hours before all npc boss's/elites can be seen or attacked 3. if open recruitment is set and a player joins who is later banned/kicked (e.g. spam joining), must either wait 24 hours to join again or be granted access by the leader (e.g. if they are banned that player's option for open rec for that legion is denied and only for them will it be plain recruitment). if anyone would like to add or alter this suggestion the plss do so ![]() |

I agree with the basic principle your purposing but members are considered un-loyal for a full 7 days, not just 12 or 24 hrs. It would be hard to re-code a situation where an un-loyal member can do some things but not others without making it apply to other un-loyal members that join other legions that don't have open recruitment ... since un-loyal is un-loyal period. If it's possible without a ton of work +1. Otherwise It's easier to just not use open recruitment, having trouble accepting people in? Add more leaders and officers that you trust. |

A 'ban' feature has been suggested and is probably the best way to deal with the majority of the issues that open recruitment brings. We already have a block feature and this can build from that. Keep in mind that open recruitment is not the best option for every legion. A small, new legion will probably benefit from it the best. A large, well established legion will most likely want to review applicants first. |

1. Would make trading unnecessarily harder 2. So if a new legion member joins and scans a boss or elite, they would have to wait 12 hours to share? 3. Banning seems like the only thing worth implementing |

+1, like I said in another thread, it shouldn't be so easy to abuse. |

This has already been abused by people like icarium. When open recruitment is set the legion in question should still get a notification and be allowed to allow the person to see planets or npc's. And a ban function to stop people constantly joining, hitting npc's then leaving and coming back again when ever they want. |

Banning seems like the only thing worth implementing 1. It's only for people who join through open recruitment; traders would still join the usual way and be unaffected. 2. They can share, they just can't see what other people alert. |
