Start a new galaxy.. let all those who have an uber ship in galaxy 1 .. sew their oats in galaxy 2.. spend a new batch of money on new gps for a new experience.. I know its been suggested before .. and shot down by 90% of the forum base.. but IMHO.. there are enough "Active" players in the current universe that the first universe would not die .. and enough people would want to have a fresh start and fresh race through the leader boards that I would think 2 separate instances of the game could flourish and both generate gp purchases..

Who knows perhaps people would play in both galaxies.

I agree thats my point .. keep your toon in galaxy one that has all the shiny bells and whistles and 150k arti/hour you have worked 3 years for .. and go play in a shiny new galaxy and take advantage of the new strategies, buy new mission exotics/rifts.. etc..

there are some other games like that,older games mostly. 1 example i know is the old game viking clan that was on myspace. they brought it over to facebook but you couldnt bring your character with you so you had to start a new character and many people still seem to play on both servers just fine.
