being allowed to gift galaxy points
example.....
go to purchase galaxy points click amount then you have a choice pick gift or purchase..
by clicking gift you pick players name and then enter credit card or other paying details of your choosing allot of other facebook games has this feature like this and it is a great feature to have allowing friends purchase galaxy points for there friends who can not afford to buy it on there own...
now you can not gift a person galaxy points that you already have you have to purchase these at the time of gifting them to the person so there is no loop on abusing the free 10 gp you get and possibly the free 5 gp you get from the daily award for playing
i would like to see this feature as allot of the stores in my area do not sell facebook gift cards and the 1's that do are sold out often

I like this. A more easily doable version would be: An artifact you can buy with GP, which is givable AND scrappable for GP !!! Hopefully the scrap amount would be exact and with no transaction loss, but those details are up to Dan. I know folks will LOVE LOVE LOVE you, Dan, if you do this.
PS: Also I'd suggest that buyable item be worth 20 GP or more, to avoid people creating multiple accounts to transfer the GP. Maybe make the same levels as the GP purchase: 20, 40, 90, 200, 550.

The only problem is if someone steals your account (illegally accesses) what is to prevent them from "gifting" GP to lots of people? The gifting process would have to require you to enter payment information every time and not just automatically use the card on file (as the normal process for buying GP does). pokerman123 wrote: i would like to see this feature as allot of the stores in my area do not sell facebook gift cards and the 1's that do are sold out often I have found that most retail stores will be happy to order things for you. So if they are out they will put some aside for you when they come in. Just ask an employee for that department or talk to a manager. Even if they normally don't carry the item, if they can get it from their supplier they will order it for you. Be sure to ask when they expect to get the item in.

No, cause that "problem" is still available today. If someone STEALS your account, they can buy a bunch of other givable items with your GP and just give those to a lot of people. The prevention for that exists today also: you can set separate passwords for apps if you want. Also don't use the same password on other places, and set security questions and stuff.

I've seen this feature by logging in through a proxy.

You can buy a facebook gift card and just send the person you want to gift GP to the code. There is no direct way to buy GP any more you have to go through facebook.

Unfortunately not able to buy FB gift cards in my country. GP can be bought via my cellular provider although that costs me twice as much. Honestly just see benefits to Dan if he had to implement this. But it isnt a problem, will just take me alot longer to buy what i want. But its a game i have come to love so i will get there eventually
