legion members should be able to use artifacts on shared planets, I mean, we're in the same legion, why can't I use a cloning pod on the planet? if we can guard it why can't we do other things like use artifacts on it?

I agree this has always annoyed me that I have to send the artifact to them and then they use it when instead I could just use it myself since I am there guarding anyway. So a huge +1 to this!

it would make protecting planets quite a bit easier, I mean, isn't that one of the reasons we HAVE legions? to make things EASIER?

We used to be able to use artifacts on friends' planets before the legion system started, or at least that's the way I remember it. I agree, it is really annoying to have to send an artifact, rather than just use it on a legion member's planet.

when you think about it, when you're guarding a planet, you're really just floating in space above it or are hovering around surface side. so how can we not use artifacts?
