Once you hit around level 100, these two things are not really worth it. 700 RP is less than 1/8th of what I make in an hour. The daily bonus I got today was barely over half-an-hour worth of research. I would like to see the daily bonus be an actual bonus, maybe 4x hourly or something that will mean something. When I get credits, they are usually worth at least 2-3 hours worth of mineral production. I would also like to see the following: Small Alien Data Disk (700 RP) = 700 AP Medium Alien Data Disk (2000 RP) = 2000 AP Large Alien Data Disk (7000 RP) = 7000 AP Mega Alien Data Disk (12000 RP) = 12000 AP |

Second idea: already mentioned. |

Agree that scaling makes sense here. The daily reward credits seem to be scaled alright so far. The RP is also scaled, just not more than 1 hour of research for many people. I think a deliberate 4 hours of production on something (or artifact like smuggler's cache that does the same, only smaller), one of the three resource types, is a good scaled bonus too. The disks, we dont need more drop types for them, we just need it to be like an hour of research. |

Yes, exactly my thoughts, some weapon of its own type. |

But, i think 4 different types is too much, maybe have 2 or 3 types, and the RP bonus to AP cost is not what I would accept, I think something more like 1.5x or 2x more AP for the amount of RP is better. 1 to 1 is just too cheap. |

Good idea, and I'd say keep it a fixed amount, but with a ratio and more rare. And add a third tier version too. For example, The Advanced Alien Databank costs 3,000 AP and gives 3,500 RP. The Lost Alien Archives costs 7,000 AP and gives 9,000 RP. i was thinking the other way, making it more expensive. but scaled sounds good, like - in lower ranks a smaller amount of RP is more expensive in AP, and in higher ranks the opposite, or make it more expensive overall on a sliding scale for size of alien data and/or Rank level. |

I'd definitely like to see some scaling. I almost groan whenever I see Alien Data Disks now. The reward isn't worth it at my level. I'd prefer to see scaling to having different-sized data disks. As for the RSL Siege Cannon, since it's supposed to be a planetary assault weapons, what if it dropped a weapon module that gave 0 attack, but lots of invasion attack? We don't have any pure invasion weapons yet to my knowledge. |
