Aside from the initial red box the announcement is pretty much ignored. Can we have it move from the bottom of the legion tab to the top of every tab so people see it and read it.

I read them. Usually after I get in trouble for doing something contrary to the announcement, but I do eventually read them.

This is exactly why I made this suggestion. Reading after the fact is not useful.

How about a pop up box when you log in or when it is reset to something new that you have to click an okay box on.

Must say that's a very good idea. Forces them to read it, but not in some overly annoying manner.

I actually think it should go further than your suggestion, perhaps a big box that covers your screen that you have to click an X in the top right corner to close, but only after clicking a box to say you've read the announcement.

Obviously, the coding should be done so that it never appears when you're doing certain things like PVP.

It would have to pop up over the battle screen since most legion announcements are about bases.

Yep, I like the idea of a pop-up box, almost exactly like the current alerts so it doesn't impact on gameplay (maybe a different color) that requires you to click before it disappears, rather than just timing out. Basically, every legion announcement would be like a sticky that required you to act to get rid of it.

Yes! An idea like this might help grab newbies attention so we can get them to talk on the legion comm. Nothing's more frustrating than having new recruits not leave a comm or anything and go inactive.

You mean like the Terms and Conditions agreements that so much software has when you install it? You know, the stuff nobody reads? Yep, that'll fix everyone's illiteracy/laziness/apathy. We can't/won't do something so Dan has to "fix" it for us.

Only way I'd support a button like what has been discussed, is if upon clicking said button, we see Are You Sure? YesNo

The current location is not visible unless you actually scroll down and are looking for it, at least on my laptop. I rather it was on the top so even if I came on late closed the 500 NPC alerts, planet attack and legion announcement, I would still see the announcement on the tabs. Maybe not every tab but at least the top of the legion one instead of beneath the members in the legion one.

+1 to the idea as it is good for the galaxy. But it does sound funny being suggested by the "vets" in the top legion.
Need to get some reading glasses for your crew!
