When we scan for planets or when we click on the name of a planet (not the planets tab, they already are small pictures there for a good reason, no need to scale them in that view) Can the planet reflect its size? I dono its just an immersion thing for me I would like to see anyone else have the same thought?

Really I don't want any information except perhaps the planet's name when I scan. My browser already freezes during scan runs and I'd prefer it not to update or have any more information until I refreshed the page to cut down on this lag.

The lag is a client-side issue. Adding in any more information won't slow it down further.

This client has trouble continuously loading the already present information. More information to load would of course slow it down further. Clearly not everyone would have the same trouble, but from my perspective it's a -1.

I don't think you understand just how fast processors are. A single line of text, maybe 25 characters at most will make no noticeable difference whatsoever.

And I'm not sure you understand what the OP is suggesting.

It's not just a line of text, it's an altering of the planet image. If the planet reflects it's size, then there's an additional process to scale the image based on its size.

Again -1.

I do understand. See: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_img_width.asp

All the server would need to do would be to calculate an appropriate height/width and add the following, with different values, of course:
Code:
height="42" width="42"

As Dexter has explained, the extra information would be next to nothing. It's going to affect your loading time by a fraction of a percent, at best.
