 More options for attacking

What about this

Normal attack (standard)
Deals normal damage at the normal price (5 energy)

Improved Critical attack
Improved critical chance hit (5 energy, 50 exotic matter)

Improved Damage attack (5 energy, 10 Complex Tech parts)
Improved damage by 10% (Can't go over the damage cap)

Reflect Damage attack (5 energy, 5 XTS-9)
Blocks partial damage, and reflects damage back (5% blocked) (2% of enemy damage reflected)

NPC only


Big hit (12 energy)
Deals double damage, however uses slightly more energy (Enemy deals same damage)

Huge hit (17 energy)
Deals triple damage, however uses slightly more energy (Enemy deals same damage)

Bases only

EMP hit (5 energy, 3 Prejoran Tech)
Medium chance to disable the bases attack for 30 seconds

There is no need to do double or triple damage. Many of us already hit the damage cap on most npc already.

I agree, this isn't very well thought-through in regards to how it'll affect all ranks. Assuming that the attack multipliers can't exceed the damage cap - which is there for a reason - then it all becomes a waste of energy.

I think you misunderstand what I meant you deal there times more damage (or three times the damage cap) but the enemy deals regular damage (up to damage cap). It was a solution to solve the "wrist getting tired" problem :mrgreen:

Sadly, it won't "solve" that issue. That issue will always occur, because its all about how many times they choose to click, not how many times they have to click per NPC/Base/PlayerKill.... All this will mean, is that they can kill something faster, but they'll still suffer from wrist issues because it won't affect "how long" they choose to click for.
