I kind of figure raiding to be the reward for actually disabling someone. It seems kind of silly when you can raid someone up to their limit and still not get the credits to repair the hull damage caused by actually disabling someone. Your reward is to essentially waste energy pointlessly with how it is. They pretty much have to be offline to get anything approaching credits for a hull repair or be disabled in the first place. They have to be offline, disabled, have resources, enough action, a smaller crew than yours and then and only then are you allowed to wastefully trade energy for paltry resources.

Perhaps the limit could be doubled or tripled or some experience could be thrown in?

I highly agree, or maybe throw in the possibility of stealing some of their crew. that would be a great reward that would make some smaller level - mid level people raid more because not many put points towards crew and if you could steal a permanent bonus for your ship, why not try for it?

maybe also be able to steal a higher level piece of their ship technology, ie a gun or hull plating, but since you don't have it researched, it takes damage every couple of days or so since you can't properly maintain it because you don't know how to make it.

Stealing there crew would be to unfair on all players, as the most highest ranked players would be stealing all the crew, and the rank 30's would have 0 crew, as they would be a raided dry.

That idea upsets the balance with in the game. and therefor it will not be allowed.

Stealing hull or weaponry is the same, all the low rank players would be lefted with nothing and only high ranked players would be everything.

So this idea is out the window as well as it upsets the balance of the game. and will not be put in.

Raiding is currently points only, They should add in "minerals" into the mix, not CREDITS because its the same, low ranked players would be lefted with nothing and the high ranks players would have everything.

The current system i know is abit boring, how ever i think theres a perfected way to make everything more better.

Instead of Stealling all the things what would make this game unfair.

How about this:

You can raid artifact and mining points.
You can raid any "minerals" lefted in the cargo.
You can raid and stealing there technology

Technology is if there a konqul raider.
so if your successful you would have 20% weapon boost and 30% raiding boost.
for a short amount of time (30 mins)

The enemy would be the same, they would lose there special abilities for 30 mins.

This would upgrade raiding and make thing still fair and even, but with a twist!

what I was talking about was in case of a critical raid, which I believe is where you steal an artifact of theirs, I think you have to be a konqul for that though. because it's not like you'd get a crew member to join you every single raid, only on the rare occasion, like .5% of the time. if that.

and here's the thing, higher level's won't try and raid lower levels for their weapons, cause the odds are the lower levels don't have better weapons.

I was thinking instead of the other person losing the item you just got it as well and it would damage like said so tho you get a crew member you aren't taken theres your just getting one of your own. If this was my game and I was to add this I would do that instead but thats just me.
