This is only a very raw idea at the moment, but I think it would be a pretty cool idea for a new mechanic for bosses, which would require more planning within the legion.

Basically these new bosses would slowly regain their hull over time. Due to this legion members would have to band together to hit it at a similar time, or co-ordinate to 'take over' at a certain time to make sure it doesn't go up in between people hitting.

As I say, it is only a very raw idea and would probably be of most benefit to high rankers/bigger legions, but let me know what you think.

Ehh. This already happens with bases.

If it was an extreme case then it would be interesting.
Heals 25% every 5 minutes so you gotta kill it real quick.

I'd say make it restore shields over time. Seems more in line with the rest of the game, as there is no auto-regenerating hull. And probably never will be.

But yeah, the basic idea of regenerating NPC's is interesting.

There can exist "smart machines" that can repair their hull over time.

Your argument is invalid. :P

An elite like the hives. It would make sense for their hull to repair.

The workers would be fixing it.

for the 4.year anniversary ... Dan should have an boss Groundhog NPC that shows up on every player's BT for the day ... once killed it immediately respawns.

EDIT: to make it a 'boss' ... you can only damage ones that other people alert

drops awarded for total damage for the day (based on rank).

medal for x number of kills.

at the end of the anniversary day, it disappears until next year ...

I'm not sure if you're joking, or if you really didnt get it.. I meant in the game, of course. No auto-repairing in the game as of yet.
And personally I wouldn't want there to be. It would defeat the purpose of having shields, and I like my shields.

This is a good idea. I like this idea.

For some reason this makes me think of Whack-A-Mole.

Yeah, I was half-joking with the latter half of my statement.
