This is a suggestion for the forum itself.

MLP posted the idea in a thread in the Pub made by Flux and other may have mentioned it before but I'm bringing it here.

The proposition is for a STICKY thread to be added to the Trading Post sub-forum where people can post people whom they have had SUCCESSFUL trades with. Due to the forum rules, this would not be a place to say "This person screwed me over" but you can certainly come along and say "This person and I had a very smooth transaction and we all got the stuff we wanted."

The thread being a sticky would allow anybody to just come along and click on it when they were entering a trade and, presumably, the thread would have their ship names in it. If people change the name of their ship then they'll have to get in touch with whoever is keeping up with the thread. I'd be willing to "Run" the thread, creating and thus editing the first post in the thread to keep a concise, ordered list of ship names so people don't have to trawl through dozens of pages to discover whether or not their person they are trading with is considered a good trader.

Of course, I think it's only fair that people could be removed from the Good Traders thread; an issue which would have to be settled via PM with whoever runs the thread to decide if someone can be removed from the list.

You are welcome to try, but I don't see any reason to sticky such a thread. As DarthRavadge said, 99% of trades happen with no issues whatsoever. I would guess that most people are not going to bother going into a separate thread to leave feedback anyway. I also suspect that some people are going to disregard the "good" part of the title and start posting deals that went bad.

I keep a number of lists, one of them being traders who did me right. Maybe you,or your legion, should keep a good trade list.
