So, how pleased is everyone that there are going to be brand new legion missions ![]() Thanks to Dan for the update. ![]() Now onto what Dan has planned. From what i have seen, Dan is going to implement some sort of skip feature for Legion Missions. I hope i am early enough to suggest that he stop working on that, and here is why; Bar the exception of three legion missions(Siladon Event/Assault on Crimson Deep/Carthyne), the rest of the Legion Missions are useful to an infinite degree; cloak % structure(Xathe) weapons upgrades/+1 arti +20% attack structure(FoW) +2 art for 1 space/+1 arti and free storage(Galakis) +1 arti +50% pop/+1 arti +2k pop/Invade %(Vorean) invade timer reduction(illegal excavation) To that end i would suggest that instead of a skip feature, could we have a timer reduction feature instead? It would be something that could be listed under rules in the base section, and have a 36 hour, 48 hour, 60 hour & 72 hour option. That way each legion could choose the timer that best suits them. OR Alternatively, reduce the legion mission timer to 36 hours for everyone, and change the 8GP timer costs to; 2 GP for a 2 hour increase 4 GP for a 30 minute decrease |

First one means larger legions don't need to sit there waiting until the timer runs dry, though it may mean they get more LM artis, but I guess it's their prize (if you will) for being able to finish the LM so quickly. Second one would help larger legions again, and if more time is needed, it's certainly cheaper, which also means the medal (Watching The Clock) is easier to get, which I'm sure would help everyone (who hasn't gotten it yet. I guess they're the only ones who don't really benefit from the GP change). +1 |

I would also think that the "skip" function would be simpler to program. If there's a concern about shopping as it were Dan can simply put in a limit on how often btwn missions the skip function could be used. |

Oh i've no concern about the skip feature being abused, as i believe it will be a simple option to skip once and only once. I'm proposing my two options because soon there will be at least 16 LM's, meaning it can take 48 days just to get 1 of each, and that's assuming you don't get the same LM's over and over. By halving the time for each LM you effectively double your chances at getting the desired legion mission. |

Cutting the run time of missions down would be nice. I would be in more favor of something along the lines of bases over level 7 are able to build a 2nd legion mission control center and could then run two legion missions at the same time. Dan could then introduce legion missions of varying times with some a bit more intensive and needing a week to accomplish. |

That would also be a nice option as most bases in that range should have max production on artifacts already from modules and room to put it in with only losing a bit of secondary production that wouldn't hurt much. |
