It would be cool if we could turn off the notifications for various things. For instance , deactivating the notification for elite disables , or when you set off traps.

I think he's referring to the little red boxes that pop up ALL THE TIME. Turning some of them off (like the notification every time you do a completion of a legion mission for instance) wouldn't be a bad thing. Would it?

so something like that? thats what they do, they filter stuff out so you can search your logs by category if you are looking for something specific.

Your sarcasm is wasted. If you read my post you would see i suggested TURNING OFF certain notifications not filtering them

these filters could use a tweek. For instance, battle logs filter should be split into 2 separate filters options. 1 for NPC kills, one for pvp battle logs and alerts. I hate when Im searching my news for pvp targets and have to sift through all those NPC kills. Other than that the filters work fine.

Have you tried using the "Non-Player Enemy" button?

only the npc alerts are included on that filter ... the kill notifications are on a different filter ... the argument is that those should both be on the same filter.

it is also annoying not to be able to see the planets that you alerted yourself.

but you can get used to anything ...
